i.luv.my.brother

 Jonathan...you will always be my baby brother even though you are taller than me now. I cannot tell you how *proud* I am of the fact that you are NOT embarrased to sing Taylor Swift and JUSTIN BIEBER in the car with me. at the top of our lungs. hermano mio, you rock. :)
Thanks for dealing with my bad days and ALWAYS being ready with a smile and a hug for me when I walk through the door. :)  The inside jokes and the laughs that we have shared are too many to count....but you know what? I'm sure there are many more to come. :)
Most of all, thanks for being my brother in Christ and encouraging me to be a Godly woman. It's hard to believe that we are 4 years apart sometimes. :) I love you so much and I am sooooooooo glad that you are NEVERRRRRRRR getting married. ;) I want to all to myself for another 20 years or so.....okay? okay. :)

I LOVE you brother of mine. :)

Learning to Trust in Him.

Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus,
Just to take Him at His Word;
Just to rest upon His promise,
And to know, “Thus saith the Lord!”

Refrain:
Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him!
How I’ve proved Him o’er and o’er;
Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus!
Oh, for grace to trust Him more!

Oh, how sweet to trust in Jesus,
Just to trust His cleansing blood;
And in simple faith to plunge me
’Neath the healing, cleansing flood!

Yes, ’tis sweet to trust in Jesus,
Just from sin and self to cease;
Just from Jesus simply taking
Life and rest, and joy and peace.

I’m so glad I learned to trust Thee,
Precious Jesus, Savior, Friend;
And I know that Thou art with me,
Wilt be with me to the end.

Spring Break= a most WONDERFUL time of the year.

Spring Break is upon us. Hallelujah.

This week I am looking forward to getting some housecleaning done, organizing pictures and albums, designing my graduation invites, working, teaching piano lessons, spending time with my family, and going to Galveston with some friends. It will be most grand. :)

In addition, I will be going to Oklahoma in two weeks for their Youth and Government State Conference, and I am SO excited about this opportunity. I am not exactly sure what I will be doing, but I am looking forward to seeing the differences and similarities between the Texas and Oklahoma YG program.

Have a fabulous break!

I think I can, I think I can....

Coffee. Anatomy. Physiology. Physics. More coffee.

That's my life right now.

I can't wait to return to a normal, sane study schedule that doesn't require me to stay up till 2 am....

My life in a nutshell.....

I am loving life.

Life is not a breeze sometimes. Life is a test..and a trust. There's good days, and stressful days. There's days when I'm so tired I don't want to get out of my bed, and there's days where I'm superwoman. But still, I serve a God who loves me unconditionally and who keeps me going when I can't do it alone. That is why I love life. I am not guaranteed tomorrow, but I am guaranteed a Father who will see me through it. What a blessing! What a joy!

I'm off of facebook temporarily, studying for a physics test, learning the art of sharing a room with my 13 year old brother whild my relatives are in town, preparing for my senior recital, finishing up graduation ceremony stuff, planning my summer activities, figuring out how I'm going to pay for it all, keeping up with long-distance friends (yup....I'm talking to you :) ), reading Passion and Purity by Elizabeth Elliot, enjoying my college classes, and growing closer to Jesus :)

That, my friends, is a brief update of my vida. It's pretty sweet. :)

WATCH OUT WORLD! It's the 2011 homeschool grads. Love these girls!
